Dr. Kamalbarathi obtained his Medical Degree (MD) from the University Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in February 2009. Following this, he became a Member of the Royal College Surgeon (MRCS) at the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, in January 2016. Building upon his foundation, he pursued and achieved a Masters of Surgery (MS) from the University Malaya in Kuala Lumpur in May 2019. He is also a Member of the Malaysian Hernia Society and conferred the Fellowship of Hernia Essentials in 2022 by Asia Pacific Hernia Society, APHS. Special interest include dialysis access surgery, laparoscopic surgery and hernia surgery. This diverse educational background equips Dr. Kamalbarathi with a broad perspective and extensive knowledge to excel as a general surgeon.
