Dr. Kamalbarathi is a dedicated medical professional with a proven track record of meeting goals and delivering exceptional patient care. His expertise spans a range of surgical specialties, including dialysis access surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and hernia surgery, all of which he approaches with a deep commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered practices.

With a special interest in Dialysis Access Surgery, Hernia Surgery and Laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Kamalbarathi is a highly qualified and experienced general surgeon. He obtained his Medical Degree (MD) from the University Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2009, and later became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) at the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, in 2016. Building upon this strong foundation, he pursued and achieved a Masters of Surgery (MS) from the University Malaya in Kuala Lumpur in 2019. He is also a Member of the Malaysian Hernia Society and conferred the Fellowship of Hernia Essentials in 2022 by Asia Pacific Hernia Society, APHS.
